Last days of summer

This summer vacation has been one of the best I ever had! A lot of relaxing, family and friends hang-outs, good dinners and a great trip to Italy. Now duty calls...back to work!

Found these stunning cups at Indiska and fell in love at once. (I fell even harder when I realized that the were on sale. Major discount!) Decided then and there that today must be my lucky day!

Back again

Hi guys, you are probably the only thing that we missed during our absolutley FANTASTIC trip to Sardinia. We're back home again after a week filled to the top with hot sun, clear waters, good friends, delicious foods and wine. We couldn't wish for anything more of this vacation accept maybe one more week in this little paradise. Our cameras are flooded with pictures that we want to share with you. So these once you can see as a start of a Sardinian picture marathon! We hope you'll enjoy 'em.

We had the most amazing weekend celebrating a pair of our dearest friends becoming husband and wife. We are so high on love right now that we believe that it must be the answer to almost anything! *lovestruck sisters*

No need for evening gowns

Didn't have the time nor the energy to dress up for the activities of this evening. A pair of teared, cropped jeans with a transparent everyday blouse worked fine with my new-found suede heels. Finished the look with a mismatch of bracelets. There is no need to wear a evening gown to feel nice, right!

The favorite spot for relaxation has got a face lift. A cute pedestal in rattan and glass has found it's place next to the most comfy armchair we've ever tried. Got it almost for free at a bidding...do we need to mention that it was love at first sight? Another newbie is the colorful story about a little boy called Bobby, published in the 40's. The illustrations are beyond amazing and the story offers a happy ending - Bobby becomes a dancer that he always been dreaming of. Heart that! The softcover is pinched to the wall with help of the beloved wooden hanger that we've mentioned here before.

Can't hold ourselves from a pure Brag-About here. We've baked our very first Macarons last weekend. OMG YES! It might be a small step for mankind but for these girls it's like rocket science. What is most WOW about it is that they actually look AND taste like the most delicious and gorgeous french bakary Macarons! With other words, Top Score. New beginners luck? Mhm, might be so but we will definitely brag about them until next time we try to bake these little wonders again. And by the way, the cookie dish, jupp, we made it. 

Shoe struck

Haven't found a pair of army boat shoes yet BUT let us introduce you to a new shoe-love of ours. Fetched these little fellows at a 2nd hand store not far from home. It's such a feeling to scout a pair of shoes, pic them up, inspect them, fall in love and then, while holding your breath, try them on and realize that they fit you perfectly! Victorious moment! They will definetley be a lojal pair of partners in crime along with a pair of skinny jeans this spring. Hey happiness!
