OK, we admit! Got a serious hang up on neon colors...especially yellow.

Had to follow up the below Warming color post with this amazing bedding. Ah, aren't the ruffles fantastic and the color...yes, it's adorable! The combo makes us think about pretty sunflowers and sweet saffron, two things that makes our hearts sing. Let it snow outside, we couldn't care less cause' we got a warm, cozy feeling going on in here!

Happy Monday, readers! We will start this week with some uplifting wall color. Guess that everybody has their own little relationship going on with the color of chickens and bananas. Some of you hates it, some of us haven't made up our minds while a brave group of inspiring people could paint their entire world in yellow without a hesitation.  We do not place ourselves in to the lets-go-for-yellow-walls-family but we are truly fond of the above yellow tone! It's warm but not too spicy and fresh without being lemonish. Just a great wall color! So from this post on we will never think a single bad thought about yellow walls again. Isn't it great to get liberated from another prejudice.

Colorful retro-explosion in the home of Shirley Kurata. Love the collection of vases gathered at the top shelf and the yellow stairway makes us wanna rip our clothes off and do the hippy-hippy-shake of joy (new experiences are fun!). 

 We feel pure happiness, Shirley. Pure happiness!

When we go to Paris

Azzedine Alaia has created three hotel apartments à 100sqm each, in the super hip district Marais in Paris. We could absolutely picture ourselves getting comfy here during a longer Paris stay. White surfaces accented with a retro color palette and with all these fabulous design classics as furnishing.
