The plume lamp

Earlier this week we brought home a bunch of twigs to decorate for Easter. We put the twigs in vase to be decorated after lunch. While eating we glanced at the twigs and kind of quick decided that we liked them natural, with out feathers and all the stuff we'd planed to hang in them. Well, with a whole lot of feathers in our hands a new idea turned up. The dear vintage lamp on the nightstand that is used without a shade could maybe need a little a make over... 

To form a diffuser we twisted the wires attached to the feathers around the lamp, using the same technique when making a garland of flowers. Voila the result is kind of cute, isn't it!
